There are some good reasons that veneers are one of the most popular cosmetic treatments. They have lots of unique benefits. They look and feel totally natural, and require minimal care beyond regular brushing and flossing. They're also extremely versatile, and can treat almost any cosmetic problem with your teeth.
Veneers are also very durable. With proper care, veneers can easily last 10-20 years or longer. And even if one of your veneers fails or breaks eventually, replacing it is really simple, so you can get back to smiling right away.
To begin the process, you’ll need to come to Bespoke Dentistry for a consultation with Dr. Leah Stempfle. She can assess your oral health and the problems with your smile, and help you decide if veneers are the best choice for your budget, your personal preferences, and your long-term oral health.
Once you’re approved, you’ll come back for a follow-up. At this appointment, Dr. Stempfle will clean and numb your mouth. Then, she will use a dental drill to gently remove a very thin layer of enamel from each tooth that’s getting a veneer. This ensures your veneers don’t add bulk to your teeth, and exposing fresh enamel allows your veneers to bond tightly to your teeth, too. Then, she will take impressions of your teeth and place a set of temporary veneers on your teeth to protect them until your next appointment.
It will take about 2-3 weeks for our lab partners to build your permanent porcelain veneers. Once they're done, you’ll come back to our office for your final appointment. Dr. Stempfle will remove your temporaries, then check your permanent veneers to make sure they fit perfectly. Then, she will use dental cement to bond them in place permanently, and you’ll be sent home to enjoy your new smile.
